[Yor had to do a bit of asking around, but she finally found out where Keyleth and Caleb live. She hadn't expected them to live in the same place, but she supposes that they're both red-headed magic users. Maybe they're cousins, or they're from the same place or something!

In any case, it's certainly convenient! It saves her a trip.

With a smile on her face, she knocks on the front door of their treehouse in Leshy, completely unwitting to the person about to answer the door.]

WINTER'S CREST GIFT

[ Outside Vex's room is a little handmade gift: a bear made out of a pinecone, alongside a little note: ]

[It may be surprising, but Vex is the last one in the keep to receive a gift from Percy. He is waiting in her room when they get back, jacket off, quietly thinking, but looks up when she comes in. With her ability to perceive, she'll notice the small box sticking out of his pocket.]

[Vex returns to their room, taking her time to acknowledge the fact that Percy didn't give her a gift publicly. She also hasn't given him his Winter's Crest gift publicly, but he made a rather big deal (for him) to do so for the rest of Vox Machina.

She moves over to the small vanity and begins to take out the feathers and pins from her hair as she looks in the mirror to watch him. He is handsome in his not-so-casual leaning against the footboard of their bed. His hand is nearly hovering over his jutting pocket. She'd have to be blind to not notice it. As she pulls the last of the white feathers from her hair, she turns to stare at him, a fond smile on her lips.]

I could make a joke about being happy to see me, but I think we're beyond those at this point, Percy.

Left outside her room, mid-December

[A small package wrapped in brown paper and tied in red ribbon is waiting for Vex outside her room. Attached to the package is a note in Caleb's neat, fluid handwriting.]

'My dear Vex'ahlia. I wish you a joyous Winter's Crest, or whatever the correct phrasing is in Tal'dorei. Thank you for being my friend. - Caleb'

[Inside the package is a silver broach with a turquoise stone carved in the shape of a single feather. A note accompanies this as well: 'Enchanted, for extra help at the bakery.' The broach will allow Vex to summon an Unseen Servant several times each day on command.]

[Waiting by the door is a package wrapped in pale blue and white. Inside it is a handmade cloak with the symbols and marks of Pelor made to hold it closed and leather wraps for the bow found in the tomb. Tucked between them is a letter.]

You and I have been to the world's edge and beyond. I don't know what's ahead. But I'm excited to see it and to live. You have always been a ray of light in my life. Whether you see it or not you have always brought that radiance with you where ever we go.

[ Sometime in mid-December, Steve drops by with a parcel that contains a very nice bottle of wine, a teal cowl-scarf with a frilly edge that looks very homemade, and a couple wrapped pieces of definitely also homemade jerky.

There's an enclosed note that reads:

"I probably owe you a drink.

Around this time every year, we give gifts to friends at home, but we don't open them until the 25th. I hope you enjoy this one.

P.S. I think Trinket might open the package before then - the treats are for him.

[Pike had known exactly what she was going to get Vex when she saw it in one of the shops in town.

Outside Vex's door is a small box, wrapped in a blue ribbon. Next to it is a small satchel, clearly labeled for Trinket. Inside Trinket's gift is some nice bear-safe treats.

Inside Vex's gift is a golden sun necklace. There's a note attached.

Vex, I've never said this, but I'm so proud of the person you've become. You've grown into such an amazing person, and each day you amaze me. The necklace not only symbolizes your new relationship with Pelor, but also it's just another way to show how much you shine brightly for all of us. I hope you like it.

Also, this note serves as One (1) Get Out of Death Free Card, free of judgement or questions. Any after that I reserve judgement and laughter.

[ On Christmas Eve, Henry stops by Greyskull Keep with gifts for his friends who live there. Vex's gift, wrapped in recycled paper, is a framed mosaic of Trinket, made from various seeds. There is a note attached: ]

Though the holidays we celebrate may be different, you've been a good friend to me, so I wanted to make sure to mark the occasion with a gift.

[ Also included is a small sachet of loose seeds and nuts that Trinket can enjoy, and Henry spends some time in bear form to play around with Trinket before he heads home. ]

a minifridge that has been installed as close to the bed as it can be with their furniture arrangement. it's filled with water bottles, along with one bottle of the red wine vex buys for the house and a carafe of orange juice. in the 'freezer' compartment, there is a bottle of good vodka. on top of the minifridge is a note. peter does not have particularly good penmanship.

vex will also find that their kitchen knives have been replaced with a block of excellent quality blades. there's a post-it note on the block that says only V, this one's to share. <3 P ]

Winter's Crest Gift

[It's taken an extra amount of effort to keep the making of her gifts a secret from the twins. In the end, Keyleth is fairly sure that Vex knows what's coming but she hopes that she'll be surprising her dearest friend. Placed just inside of Percy & Vex's Room are two small earthy decorated giftbox's. One is labeled with Percy's name and the other Vex's.

Once tearing through the leafy paper and opening the box concealing the gift, Vex will find a handmade hair clip decorated with a tribal Ashari carved piece of antler attached to a baby blue feather that is tipped in white wax. Keyleth has carved the antler herself and after a lot of mistakes and fifteen days of attempting to hide her activities, it'd turned into a skillfully made piece of jewelry. She'd made two, one for Vax and one for Vex. Though Vax's turned out a lot better.

Along with the gift is a note.]

In the short time since joining you all I have learned more about what it means to be a hero, a good man, and an everyday person of the world, both this one and our own, than I ever could back home. (Or perhaps I should not call it home anymore. Ah, but what is that but meaningless semantics? Home is where the heart is, as they say. And my heart is with all of you.) May this gift give you a little bit of added protection, even if you are strong enough not to need it. It can't hurt! Plus, it is fashionable. Double-plus: I have a matching set!

The package contains Give 'em Hail - beautifully intricate leather armor decorated with white dragon scales, offering +2 AC with cold resistance. An extra enchantment will trigger to glimmer around her wings when they're out and give them the same protection.]

"You know I am not great at apologies but I am deeply sorry for all the grief I have given you in the past when bringing Trinket along for the ride on our adventures even if he does make more noise than Pike in her armor sometimes. Your beloved brother helped create this rendition of the big fluff ball so you can always have him at your side. [ Grog was running low on ideas for what to get his friends for Winter's Crest this year... So, he decided to turn The Cask & Anvil tavern into his one-stop-shop for gifts.

Left outside Vex's door with a ribbon haphazardly tied around the neck, and a note in nearly illegible handwriting reading HAPY WINTRS KREST FRUM GROG, is a bottle of artisinal vodka that he thought suited her perfectly. ]
